In Visible Cities
The 11×11 presented my evolution as a photographer and a traveller through eleven travelling journals for eleven quite well-defined destinations. “In Visible Cities” is mainly interested in the details of the psyche of the traveller.
In those images, which are still a work in progress, the locations remain relatively unknown and unimportant. What matters is the periodicity of occurrences in the life of the traveller. What was Marco Polo dreaming of on the long trails through the desert? What were the last thoughts of Odysseus before going to bed? Was Herodotus ever complaining about the weather in the places of his travels?

Στις Ορατές Πόλεις
Το 11×11 παρουσίαζε την εξέλιξή μου ως φωτογράφου και ταξιδιώτη μέσα από έντεκα ταξιδιωτικά ημερολόγια, για έντεκα αρκετά σαφώς καθορισμένους προορισμούς. Το «Στις Ορατές Πόλεις» ενδιαφέρεται περισσότερο για τις λεπτομέρειες της ψυχοσύνθεσης του ταξιδιώτη.
Στις εικόνες αυτές, που ακόμη αποτελούν ένα έργο σε εξέλιξη, οι τοποθεσίες παραμένουν σχετικά άγνωστες και, τελικά, όχι τόσο σημαντικές. Αυτό που έχει σημασία είναι η επαναληπτικότητα ορισμένων στιγμών και καταστάσεων στη ζωή του ταξιδιώτη. Τι ονειρευόταν ο Μάρκο Πόλο στις ατέλειωτες διαδρομές του μέσα στην έρημο; Ποιες ήταν οι τελευταίες σκέψεις του Οδυσσέα πριν αποκοιμηθεί; Παραπονέθηκε ποτέ ο Ηρόδοτος για τον καιρό στα μέρη όπου ταξίδευε;
